Osteopathy

Philosophy: The body is stabilized through tension as opposed to compression, and when the tension is unbalanced about a joint, the joint is pulled off its axis of rotation, creating pain. Vreni’s current practice involves balancing the body and reducing pain with soft-tissue work in order to help people transition from pain and poor health to feeling better and moving with more ease.

Vreni treats all tissues of the body, including the brain and other organs, nerves, blood vessels, fascial compartments, bones, skin, joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles. She palpates and treats the area of discomfort for adhesions and restrictions, which she most frequently finds within the skin, the veins, or adjacent muscles which are adhered to each other, reducing range of motion.
