Francesca Fabbri, PT, D.O.M.P.

Registered Physiotherapist and
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (Osteopathy BC)

Born and raised in Italy, I moved to Canada at 39 to start a new life. On October 1st , 2018, I became a registered physiotherapist in Canada and I am now able to take care of my patients to my best.

My intervention is about:

  • Poor posture correction: scoliosis, flat feet, crossed-legs, forward head posture, rounded shoulders…

  • Joint and muscle pain relief

  • Pre and post surgical rehab

  • Sport injuries: muscle strains and tightness, joint sprains, dislocations and so on

  • Degenerative disease, as osteoarthritis in lower back, neck and hip.

  • Nerve involvement: sciatic pain, tingling and numbness in your arms, carpal tunnel

How?

  • Passive myo-fascial release/massage

  • Passive/active/assisted joint mobs and manipulations

  • Global Postural Rehabilitation (Souchard method)

  • Home exercise program tailored for you

  • Kinesiotape application

  • Education on ergonomics (environment changes to enhance your function)

  • Pool rehab tips

Also, I graduated in 2010 as an Osteopathic Practitioner.

I am able to assist in the healing of several diseases related to the:

  • Musculo-skeletal system as well as visceral issues: digestive and respiratory problems (asthma, allergies, constipation and painful abdominal spasms)

  • Scar tissue treatment

  • Sinusitis

  • Headaches

  • Sleep or energy issue (with cranio-sacral techniques)

  • Jaw dysfunction

  • Pre- and post-natal support and preparation to labour

  • Hormonal imbalances

  • Immune system boost

  • Newborns problems (colics, regurgitation)

Thanks to being simultaneously a physiotherapist, (Western Medicine) and an osteopathic practitioner (holistic and alternative medicine), I consider my patients’ concerns from two points of view!
